At Scent Notes, we create modern greeting cards designed to slow you down.

We are siblings and designers who believe that in a world of instant messages and fleeting reactions, the most meaningful gestures are still the handwritten ones - intentional, personal, and kept for years.

We founded Scent Notes after noticing a quiet shift: cards had become disposable, messages rushed, and the act of writing by hand was slowly disappearing. What was once a considered ritual had become an afterthought. As designers trained in human-centred design, we saw this as a problem worth solving.

Our response was simple but deliberate.

Every Scent Notes card is designed with the person on the receiving end in mind. We focus on tactile materials, thoughtful layouts, and generous space for words because how something feels in the hand matters just as much as what is written on it. Some of our cards include a subtle layer of scent, chosen to deepen the memory rather than distract from it. Scent, like handwriting, has the ability to anchor moments in time.

Whether scented or paper-only, our greeting cards are created to be written slowly, gifted with intention, and kept long after the occasion has passed. They are not made for drawers or bins, but for bookshelves, memory boxes, and quiet rediscovery years later.
